J.A.B's Poker Tour Bad Beat Jackpot!

The bad beat jackpot is progressive and grows with every night of poker played.

The jackpot can only be won at any of our venues.

Each month of gaming $100 will be added to the jackpot. $75 to the first pot and $25 to the second pot. The first pot will be awarded when hit and the second will become the new first jackpot and a 2nd will be started.

Rules of the bad beat are as follows:

A minimum hand of four A’s must be beaten by a higher hand. This will continue until the pot becomes $500.

At $510 the minimum hand will be four K’s.

At $1010 the minimum hand will be four Q’s.

At $1510 the minimum hand will be four J’s.

At $2010 the minimum hand will be four 10’s.

At $2510 the minimum hand will be four 9’s.

At $3010 the minimum hand will be four 8’s.

At $3510 the minimum hand will be four 7’s.

The hand will remain at quad 7's until it is hit.

At the time of winning the break down will be as such.

Losing hand receives 30% of the jackpot, winning hand receives 20%. The remaining 50% will be split evenly among the rest of the active players on that table, "active" means you must have been in your seat at the time first action came to you. If you are not in your seat at time of first action and are mucked, you do not get a part of the bad beat.

Each winning player must fill out a W9 tax form within 48 hours of the bad beat before receiving the winnings and provide all the information requested upon that tax form. Failure to do so means forfeiting their portion of the prize money. 

 Rules: Both cards in the players hand must play, ex. pocket 9's and 2 on the board...and the hand must be verified by the tournement director.
